All new computers carry a one year limited warranty (battery & power adapters excluded) from the day of the original purchase. All computer parts, used computers, used laptops, and used or new monitors unless specified are covered for a period of 3 months limited warranty from the date of original purchase except in cases in which manufacturer’s warranty exceeds ours. In this case the manufacturer’s warranty will be honored. Used computer parts have a 30 day-limited warranty. All laptop and computer hardware repairs have a 30-day warranty in parts and 60 day- warranty in labor.
What is covered by this limited warranty?
This limited warranty covers defects in hardware, and workmanship in your computer. Hardware is defined as, but may not be limited to the computer itself which includes all components, (CPU, ram, motherboard, disk drives, and housing) the monitor, keyboard, mouse, and other peripherals if applicable. All new computers are covered with the manufacturer’s warranty only, which is one year from the date of the original purchase.
What is not covered by this limited warranty?
-Software, including the operating system and software added to your computer, third party software, or the reloading of software. Lost or damaged CD’s, Floppy disks or memory cards are also not covered by this limited warranty.
-Products or accessories not installed by IBW
-Problems that result from:
- External causes such as accident, abuse, misuse, or problems with electrical power
- Problems resulting from exposure to humidity, cold temperatures or heat
- Bad electric power connections that might cause short circuits in the motherboard or power supply
- Usage that is not in accordance with product instructions
- Failure to follow the product instructions or failure to perform preventive maintenance
- Problems that result by using accessories, parts, or components, not supplied or installed by IBW
- Failure to provide the proper installation environment
- Natural disasters such as floodings, fires, earthquakes, etc.
-Products with missing or altered serial numbers
-This warranty is non-transferable and cannot be sold with the computer
How do I obtain warranty service?
Simply call IBW at (908)688-7877 to arrange for service. The original receipt must accompany all warranty service requests.
What will IBW do?
IBW will repair or replace at its option defective hardware, components or accessories that attributed to your problem. If a repair is not possible we will replace the product with a comparable new or factory refurbished component. Some products may have an existing manufacturer’s warranty that exceeds our limited warranty agreement. In this case the manufacturer’s warranty will be honored.
How will you fix my product?
We use new and factory refurbished parts made by various manufacturers in performing warranty repairs and in building replacement parts and systems. Replacement parts and systems are covered for the remaining period of the limited warranty for the product you purchased. IBW assumes ownership of all defective parts replaced during the limited warranty period. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. IBW responsibility for malfunctions and defects in hardware is limited to repair or replacement as set forth in this warranty statement. All express and implied warranties for the product, including, but not limited to any implied warranties and conditions of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in time to the term of the limited warranty period, which begins from the date of your original invoice. No warranties either express or implied will apply after the warranty period has expired unless otherwise denoted by an IBW representative. We do not accept liability beyond the remedies provided for in this limited warranty or for the consequential or incidental damages, including, without limitation, any liability for third-party claims against you for damages, for products not being available for use, or for lost data or lost software. Our liability will be no more than the amount you paid for the product that is subject to the claim. This is the maximum amount that IBW or its subsidiaries can be held liable.
NOTE: BEFORE BRINGING A COMPUTER IN FOR SERVICE, PLEASE REMEMBER TO BACKUP DATA ON THE HARD DRIVE. REMOVE ANY CONFIDENTIAL, PROPRIETARY, OR PERSONAL INFORMATION. REMOVE MEDIA, SUCH AS FLOPPY DISKS, CD’s OR MEMORY CARDS. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR CORRUPTED DATA; PERSONAL INFORMATION; OR DAMAGED OR LOST MEDIA. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR GOODS LEFT OVER 30 DAYS NOR FOR LOSS BY FIRE OR THEFT.
